First agency get-together in Duesseldorf

On June 13, 2023, the first agency get-together for agency entrepreneurs took place in the "Zum Schlüssel" brewery in Düsseldorf's old town. The idea for this arose during a seminar initiated by Markus Hartmann in Illschwang.

Over the past few years, a quite respectable community has emerged in the agency scene around the topics of pricing, organization and positioning that Markus has promoted. At the corresponding events, you always come across other agencies that are geographically located just around the corner. This gave rise to the idea of trying to create regional offers as well, in order to offer agency people who think in a similar way a forum on their doorstep in order to exchange ideas personally and share experiences.

The first plans were made during the seminar and the idea of a regulars' table for agency owners took shape. We gladly agreed to promote and support the idea by taking the local organization into our hands. Eventually the date and location were fixed and things took their course.

Out of more than 20 registered participants, 16 finally came to the first meeting, which ultimately turned out to be a very good size to start a conversation with everyone. It worked. After a short introductory impulse on the subject of prices and inflation and their importance for the agency's business by Markus, we went directly to the topics without a long warm-up and an entertaining and insightful discussion began. It quickly became clear that there are many topics that agencies are currently dealing with and on which there is a need to speak. Inflation, the order situation, working from home, and the lack of skilled workers are just a few of the topics that were discussed over the course of the evening over Altbier and Rhineland specialities.

At the end of the evening, there was agreement that we want to continue this form of exchange in the future. So there should be more regulars' tables in the region, probably at intervals of 3-4 months.

If you would like to be part of it next time, you are welcome to contact me directly or get updates from Markus on the associated information page. Further round tables in other regions, e.g. in Nuremberg and Munich, have already been scheduled and further regions are being planned.

Many thanks to dear Nicole, who, as always, very skilfully documented the event with photographs.
