Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forums Basic Belgium and Spain
As part of the major “Takeover and relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forums Basic” project, the Basic Dealer Forums Belgium and Spain were relaunched. Both dealer forums underwent a redesign and were connected to the SAP Customer Data Cloud.
Connection of the Hörmann Dealer Forums Classic France and Italy to the SAP Customer Data Cloud
Two further classic dealer forums, France and Italy, were successfully connected to SAP's Customer Data Cloud.
Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic Turkey
The Basic Dealer Forum Turkey was relaunched in the course of the roll-out plan in 2024. As part of the relaunch, the dealer forum was given a new design and connected to the SAP Customer Data Cloud.
Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic Baltic
With the Dealer Forum Baltic, the first bilingual Basic Dealer Forum has been successfully connected to SAP's Customer Data Cloud. The default language of the Dealer Forum is Lithuanian. A fallback mode was set up for the Latvian localization so that content from the original Lithuanian language is automatically output if no Latvian translation is available.
Connection of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Classic Poland to the SAP Customer Data Cloud
At the end of December 2023, another Hörmann Classic Dealer Forum - the Dealer Forum Poland - was successfully connected to SAP's Customer Data Cloud.
Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic Romania, Denmark and Norway
As part of the roll-out, the basic dealer forums in Romania, Denmark and Norway were also relaunched in 2023, including a CDC connection and a new design.
Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic Norway
The next step in the roll-out was the relaunch of the Norwegian country version of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic on February 7, 2023. Thanks to authentication via SAP CDC, the Norwegian dealer forum also enables a single login for the use of all Hörmann online systems. The new, CI-compliant additionally design ensures a seamless transition between the systems.
Relaunch of the Hörmann Dealer Forum Basic Slowakei
As the first country in the brand new TYPO3 installation based on v11.5 LTS, the country version Slovakia of the Hörmann dealer forums Basic was relaunched on November 28, 2022. With a new design and CDC connection, Hörmann dealers and craftsmen can now obtain information about Hörmann products even better.
Takeover and relaunch of the Hörmann dealer forums basic
In mid-2022, Marketing Factory was commissioned by Hörmann to take over the Dealer Forums Basic, a "light" version of the Dealer Forums that we have been operating and developing since 2002.
The Dealer Forums Basic were previously operated internally by Hörmann in a TYPO3 v6.2. In order to get rid of old technical debt and to enable a new start, Hörmann decided on our advice to gradually take over the country versions and to rebuild the Dealer Forums Basic on the basis of TYPO3 v11.5 LTS. The design was based on the new design of the Dealer Forums Classic, as well as the new corporate website, in order to generate a uniform look and feel for Hörmann dealers and tradesmen across all touchpoints.
The Dealer Forums Basic are currently being transferred country by country to the new installation, cleaned of obsolete content and connected to SAP CDC.
Integration of SAP Customer Data Cloud in Hoermann dealer forums
Marketing Factory has been creating and supervising the Hörmann dealer forums (extranets) since 2002. Starting in 2020, Marketing Factory will gradually switch the registration process for the dealer forums to the "SAP Customer Data Cloud".
Relaunch of the German and Austrian Hörmann Dealers' Forums
As the look and feel of the Hörmann Dealers' Forums was outdated and old-fashioned after being in operation for over 10 years, the German and Austrian Dealers' Forums underwent a technical and visual relaunch. The two countries were migrated to a separate TYPO3 installation based on TYPO3 8.7 LTS.
