Upgrade to TYPO3 version 13
Nine months after the relaunch of Maxion Wheels' corporate site based on TYPO3 12.4 LTS and less than six months after the release of the latest TYPO3 Long Term Support version, we upgraded Maxion Wheels' TYPO3 installation to TYPO3 13.4 LTS as part of the Continuous Upgrading process. Maxion Wheels not only benefits from an updated technical base that will receive support until at least the end of December 2027, but also from the fact that the entire upgrade took place without using any resources at Maxion Wheels.
Maxion Wheels starts with continuous upgrading
With the relaunch and Go Live of the new website based on TYPO3 12.4 LTS on July 4, 2024, Maxion Wheels starts with our “Continuous Upgrading Program”, which covers - among other things - all subsequent upgrades to future TYPO3 versions.
Website relaunch on the basis of TYPO3 12.4 LTS
As part of the relaunch project, the website www.maxionwheels.com was completely redesigned on the basis of TYPO3 12.4 LTS and launched at the beginning of July 2024.
Launch of the campaign page for the Guinness world record drive
After 12 days, 3,039 kilometers and 5,816 meters of altitude, long-distance driver Rainer Zietlow set a new Guinness World Record for a trip to the highest point in an all-electric VW ID.4 GTX. The individual stages of the journey from Germany to the summit of the Bolivian volcano Uturuncu were documented on a campaign page.
Start of collaboration: Transfer and integration of the TYPO3 installation into our system landscape
At the start of 2022, Marketing Factory successfully integrated the TYPO3 installation into its system landscape, so that the website can be gradually expanded and brought up to date over the subsequent phases.
