In October 2016, the KALDEWEI corporate website was presented with the TYPO3 Award in the Enterprise/Industry category at T3CON 2016.
The relaunch involved an update from TYPO3 CMS 4.7 to TYPO3 CMS 7.6, a complete redesign of the corporate website and the implementation of an intuitively operated installation configurator for the KALDEWEI bathtub and shower tray range.

2015: Redesign of the website for the brand image at the ISH in Frankfurt
In 2014 Marketing Factory was commissioned by KALDEWEI to redesign and manage its international website. In March 2015, KALDEWEI showcased a totally new product range at the ISH in Frankfurt and reached a new milestone in its corporate history: The premium bathroom manufacturer inspired the public and its online visitors with its new washbasins made of unique KALDEWEI steel enamel.
Marketing Factory used digital communication solutions for the new KALDEWEI website, while its creative partner, the Hamburg-based Kolle Rebbe agency, was the lead agency in the concept development of a completely new brand image for the premium bathroom manufacturer. A microsite lay at the heart of the digital developments, in which the company’s complete range of new products was showcased to an international audience in a total of ten languages.
The calligraphic brush stroke is incorporated as a sophisticated parallax scrolling element on each page and helps prospective customers to navigate their way around the different sections of the product range. The content-based highlights technically feature scroll events to arouse the user’s attention when they approach them. Individual full screen elements, including videos and slideshows, underline the sensuality of the KALDEWEI brand and create an emotional engagement with the online presence.

2016: Complete relaunch of the KALDEWEI corporate website using TYPO3 CMS 7.6
In 2016, the Ahlen-based company commissioned Marketing Factory to relaunch its international corporate website using TYPO3 CMS 7.6 instead of TYPO3 CMS 4.7. The top navigation offers users an convenient and intuitive introduction into the KALDEWEI range of bathtubs, showers and washbasins. At the same time, the calligraphic brush stroke was taken up again and helps visitors to differentiate between different product ranges. The modern SOLR search function provides fast access to the downloads visitors require, as well as additional information.
The focus of the redesign of the corporate website was on the development of the product and shower installation configurator, which permits individual configuration of the required KALDEWEI bathtub and shower surfaces by means of a user-friendly filter system.
The new service area introduces the KALDEWEI brand and brings its products to life with a lively visual style combined with videos and an attractively arranged press area. The media library provides extensive product information to trade visitors in the form of brochures and catalogues, as well as using other media, which can be conveniently placed in a shopping cart and then downloaded or dispatched.
The structure of the corporate website offers architects, designers, dealers and installers visiting the site the information they require and introduces end customers to the products through an emotive language of images and videos. Finally the integrated installer and display search directs prospective customers to KALDEWEI trade partners in their vicinity, thereby converting them into customers.
