Project overview

The Shopware-based online shop casawella.de was launched in cooperation with ProChannel GmbH on October 16th, 2017.

ProChannel primarily focusses on content and category management. Besides that, the company acts as a fulfillment provider since they have access to storage facilities and are managing and carrying out all incoming orders. 

Marketing Factory is responsible for the technical maintenance and support as well as hosting and online marketing. 

Project details

The online shop was developed aligned to the standards of responsive webdesign to enable an accurate presentation on all devices.

In order to enable a collaboration between ProChannel and Marketing Factory, a technical interface between the shop software Shopware and ProChannel's merchandise management system E-Connect had to be created. Therefore, Marketing Factory developed a dedicated API and thus enabled the connection between both systems.

In the process of concept and design a strong emphasis was placed on the aspect of emotional shopping. The design therefore is based on a calming, earthy colour scheme and a playful font.

The overall focus was put on achieving a user friendly shopping experience, optimated for all devices. The shop's centerpieces are the shopping worlds that provide an inspiration to the visitors.

The large-scale sliders do not simply present the products in combination with each other but also lead the visitors directly to the product pages by clicking on the integrated hotspots.

During the further development of this project, several aspects of usability and user experience will be strengthened in order to increase the visitors' shopping experience. Additionally, various marketing measures will be developed and integrated to further expand the online shops' popularity, including SEO/SEA, AdWords campaigns, and a social media strategy.
